  I brought my Golden doodle to Pooch Parlor. I asked for them to cut half off. When I returned to pick up my dog, I swear I did not recognize him. I said in disbelief is that my dog. They said yes and said that they had to cut all his hair because he was matted. They cut him all the way down to his skin, including his tail. My big fluffy golden doodle was now bald! They said normally that they would call their cleint before cutting off all the dogs hair but for some reason they failed to do so with me. Once I returned home of course my entire family was upset at my dogs appearance. Later that evening my dog was very uncomfortable and licking himself all over. When I inspected him closer he had razor cuts in his private area. When I brought my dog back to show the owners what they did, their attitude was very uncaring and un apologetic. I really just wanted an explanation. They said to get a letter from my vet saying it was their fault and they would see what they could do. They said maybe I could get a free shampoo. UNREAL! I immediately took my dog to the vet whom stated that it looks like dogs irritation was caused by my groomer using dirty grooming equipment. I didn't bother to bring a letter back to Poochie parlor for a free shampoo. I would NEVER subject my dog to that place again. I wish I could give Pooch Parlor 0 stars instead 1 star.
